Backcountry skiing and trekking demands a balance between adrenaline and safety. Thats why each morning our guides verify before departure, that weather and snowpack conditions are optimal for any given activity. Each of our tours, according to the activity, respect Adventure Ecotourism Quebec ratios. Ski Chic-Chocs is also an affiliated member of the Canadian Helicat Association which promotes a high professionnal standard necessary for heli and catski operations. Our guides are accredited by the Canadian Avalanche Association, certified in CPR and trained as first respondants in isolated areas.
