Alpine Trekking
Equipped with snowshoes, come experience a unique way of discovering the exceptional beauty of the alpine terrain. You will be taken to a sea of mountains and habitat of the cariboo in the warmth and comfort of our snowtrack.
The Alpine Trekking offers a complete day of snowshoeing in a mountain environment. We will meet at the discovery and services centre of the National Park on route 299, 40 km south of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts for 8 :30am. This is where you will receive instructions for the day and bord the specially adapted snowtrack to reach the snowshoeing trails chosen by your guide.
Accompagnied by our nature interpreter \ guide you will discover all the natural beauty of the alpine terrain on a trek through the highest mountains of the Gaspe penninsula. You must be ready for a complete day of snowshoeing outdoors mixed in with rides to and from the trails in the warmth and comfort of the snowcat.
Your return to the discovery and services centre will be made just before sundown. (around 16 :00 pm)
Groups must be a minimum of 2 guests with the maximum beiing of 14. If you are alone we will try to have you join a group to ensure the activity taking place.
