The Gîte du Mont-Albert is situated in the Gaspe national parc, in the heart of the Gaspe peninsula. Route 299 crosses the park from north to south. Our morning meeting spot is the Discovery and Services Center of the SÉPAQ, next to the Gîte. (CDS)

We are situated 5 hours east of Quebec City, on route 299, south of the town of Ste-Anne-des-Monts in the Gaspe Provincial Park.
Our morning meeting spot is the Discovery and Services Center of the SEPAQ neighbour of the Mount Albert Wilderness Lodge.(Gîte du Mont Albert). We ask that you be there for 8:30 am.

Here are your options for lodging in the area:
1) In the Provincial Park through the SEPAQ, our partner. At the Mount Albert Wilderness Lodge (Gîte du Mont Albert) you may find rooms or cottages(with complete kitchen including dish-washer) or huts depending on what you prefer. We are able to take care of all bookings for you so only one phone call is needed to book your vacation package even including meals if you wish.
2) In the town of Ste-Anne-des-Monts there are three Ancestral Inns located next to the seashore. The town is a 40 km drive to the Provincial Park and our morning meeting spot. All three of the Inns have different assets of interest. At “La Seigneurie des Monts” you can find rooms and suites. Some of the suites offer therapeutic baths which are just what the doctor ordered after a long day out in the mountains… The “Auberge Château Lamontagne” offers incredible views of the sea as well as one of the finest places to eat in the area. At ” Auberge/Pub Chez Bass” you can find a room in the best pub in town, it’s the spot for après-ski!!
3) Near the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts you will find the HI-Sea Shack that offers dorms, cabins and yurts. The newly refurbished Sea Shack offers its visitors two floors of common area where you can cook in the shared kitchen, enjoy a good meal with your friends and relax in the chilling room.
